Designed to highlight the link between the Jewish community in new York with Israel, this sketch includes maps of New York City and Israel. The word "Israel" in Hebrew is superimposed on a giant Yud letter, which is contained within every other Hebrew letter. It is also the first letter of G-D's name. Out of each letter, a fire emerges, reminiscent of Chanukah candles. Above it all, rays shine on the first two words from Deuteronomy 6-4, which are the most important words to the Jewish people.
This sketch was painted during the height of the second Intifada to show my support of Israel. I was hoping to make it a mural, and maybe you can help make this dream a reality. As this sketch shows, graffiti comes in all languages.
