Purchasing a birthday or holiday greeting card has always been difficult for me, so I turned to my own efforts as a solution. The postcard is addressed to Jenny, and it works with two functional mazes, with the paths running between the left and right extremes.
One maze utilizes the yellow paths
The other uses the blue channels, and the Jenny tag (from arrow to arrow)
In addition, the Russian equivalent of her name, Женя can be found running through the center, incorporated into the much larger English letters. Also, the monogram combining our initials in Hebrew can be found in the center of the puzzle. Weaved within the yellow path maze is her Hebrew name, תְהִלָּה, a Star of David, and my initials. The varying shades of blue are inspired by Tiffany lamp designs, and the border patterns are inspired by 19th century brownstone architecture. The top of the plate is opened up by a monogram flame comprised of our Hebrew initials.
It is proof that graffiti comes in all languages.
