Please forgive the camera flash. This mural was inspired by the works of Piet Mondrian and the architecture classes I have taken. The black lines indicate a top-heavy building. Going up, at every horizontal beam, the building becomes wider. Primary colors add balance to each side, and the original lavender color of the door is left alone to indicate the room number. A record disc, compact discs, and cassettes indicate the history of recorded sound. Above 640 AM (the frequency), is an outline of Shepard Hall, where communications classes take place. Below is an outline of the North Academic Center, where the radio station is located. On the bottom of the structure above the symbolic grassy lawn, my name is signed in Morse code, to indicate the first media used to transport sound.
