Honorable Kenneth P. Zebrowski, New York State Assembly Legislative Internship. Conducted legal and factual research and drafted bill memoranda and letters. Participated in lobbyist and constituent group meetings, and in weekly classes on the history and process of writing laws.
Spring-summer of 2003:
Photography Intern at The Studio Museum in Harlem. This involved researching the photographic works of James Van Der Zee, interviewing local artists, and organizing museum exhibits. The internship concluded with two of my own photography works shown in the Expanding the Walls exhibit.

Adjunct Professor of History, Touro College Designed syllabus, selected textbooks and assignments for the following:
Into to Art History: Introducing students to international news stories related to the arts and their connection to historical trends in the arts. Introducing students to public art programs around New York City.
Intro to Media Studies: Familiarizing students with the history and latest developments in the media, including radio, online media, public relations, television, and radio. Analyzing trends in the media and social networks.
History of the Holocaust: Analyzed the causes, history, and impact of the holocaust. Strong emphasis on discussions related to political and social changes before and after the holocaust.
Jews in America: Introduced students to the history of the Jewish community in the united States, with a strong emphasis on news stories that are related to events in the history of Jews in the United States.
Summers of 2004 through 2009:
Licensed Sightseeing Guide at Coach USA-Gray Lines, CitySights, and On Board Tours bus, subway, boat, and walking tours in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. This program involves three to six hour guided bus and walking tours of certain neighborhoods, where local history, culture, and entertainment are discussed.
March 2008 - November 2009
Translator. Translated from Russian to English "Bukharian Jews: an Encyclopedic Reference," a 528-page work by Dr. Robert Pinkhasov on the history, culture, and famous personalities in the Bukharian Jewish community. Contributed articles and assisted author on layout of text, and promotion of book.
Volunteer Experience
2005-2008: Delivering sermons, helping lead the weekly Sabbath services at the Selfhelp elderly residences in Flushing, NY.
Fall 2006: Intern at the WHCR, a radio station serving the Harlem community, based on the campus of City College, where I produced announcements dealing with local culture and history.
